Schuck Jewelers is a fourth generation jewelry store located on the west side of Bryan's square. The store was founded by George J. Schuck in 1916 and his grandsons Lauren L. Bechtol and Bruce M. Bechtol own the business today. With the assistance of their wives, Christine and Donna, and their mother Ann, the store operates six days a week for their customers from the tri-state area. The great grandchildren or the fourth generation, have been involved in the business as they have grown up. Today, only one great grandson is working part time during his college years. Time will tell if a fourth generation great grandchild will take over full time in the future.
Although there are still a few family owned jewelers in northwest Ohio and the tri-state area, Schuck Jewelers stand alone in offering on site:
- Watch repairs by a graduate horologist
- Jewelry design and repairs by a professionally trained goldsmith
- Gemological and appraisal services by a GIA trained Graduate Gemologist
- Honest and fair pricing every day of the year without false sales
