Jewelry is the gift of "lasting beauty". However, if you are susceptible to mail-order and discount store promotions, commercials and the guarantee of the lowest price and the Internet, your enjoyment of the jewelry purchase may easily tarnish sooner than expected.

Today the public is being bombarded by all kinds of outlets selling jewelry and the Internet seems to make comparison shopping easy. Nonetheless, those comparisons can be very easily manipulated to reflect false pricing when it comes to jewelry. How? The answer is simple: The quality of jewelry for the "same thing" can vary greatly. In addition, many times the "regular price", "former" or "reference" price is usually so exaggerated that a prudent person should question themselves whether they are receiving a true discount.

There is nothing wrong with legitimate discounts. However, deceptive pricing offers you no bargain at all. To avoid being a victim, we recommend shopping in person. Looking at pictures on a computer screen without the assistance of the jeweler does not permit you to compare the quality of gemstones and quality of the construction. Your jeweler can easily answer all those questions. Develop a relationship with your jeweler on the same level as you do with your doctor, lawyer or accountant - trusted individuals who have mastered the unique but necessary skills required by their professions.

At Schuck Jewelers we have always offered competitive pricing every day. We have never remarked the retail price upward simply to have a sale. Although we have had sales from time to time, some store wide, we discount from our daily competitive prices. Our sale prices are true values. As we move forward into cyber space and the Internet, we will be offering special "deals of the day" or limited specials on selected merchandise.

We also make special purchases from our vendors and pass these lower prices on to you as well. We usually identify these items to point out the better value. When an item becomes an "Old Friend", we will identify the item as such and you're able to purchase, for less, a great item. Once the price of an "Old Friend" is reduced, it will remain discounted until it finds a new home.

The SCHUCK STUDIO COLLECTION is a new approach in the jewelry industry to lower the higher prices which are the result of the run up in the metal markets. We have worked with several of our U.S. suppliers who have made up samples of selected jewelry using either sterling silver or plated base metals and simulated gemstones such as CZ or cubic zirconia.

These samples are true models of the jewelry item. Your selection is then ordered and produced in your unique requested quality and may be delivered as quickly as overnight, to usually no more than one week. Since we are avoiding thousands of dollars on invested inventory costs, we pass the savings on to you. This will normally save you at least 25% over a similar item found in our regular stock. In addition, the Schuck Studio Collection price will usually be a greater discount from the manufacture's selling price. At times, this discount may be as much as 50% off the normal selling price seen at some stores.
